You are bidding on one (1) 2009 Australian Year of the Ox Silver Lunar Coin Series II. This stunning silver coin contains ONE (1) Troy ounce of 99.9% pure silver. These Australian coins are in pristine condition with mirror-like raised design. Beautiful, beautiful!! 

This coin measures approx. 40mm (1.57") in diameter.

This Australian Lunar silver coin celebrates the Year of the Ox. The coin's reverse depicts an ox and a calf standing on grass with hills in the backgroundas as well as the Chinese character for ‘ox’. Issued as legal tender under the Australian Currency Act 1965, it features Ian Rank-Broadley’s effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse.

In Chinese culture, people born in the Year of the Ox - 1913, 1925, 1937, 1949, 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997 and 2009 - are regarded as calm, confident and determined.
