Very beautiful rectangular serving bowl which dates to around the early 1900’s.

This bowl is marked LS & S Carlsbad, Austria which is the Lewis Strauss & Sons.

White porcelain bowl with pink roses and rose buds with moss green foliage. The sides of the interior of this bowl are embossed/raised design in the porcelain of large leaves.

Measures approx. 12 ½ inches long by 8 inches wide and 2 inches high.

Marked on the backside with the blue LS & S Carlsbad Austria mark and number 2807 and initials plus in the mold numbers 15 and 2.

Great condition - no chips, nicks, cracks or repairs - bright and shiny, very little evidence of usage marks. There is a gold trim along the very top scalloped edge that has worn off in places which can be expected from normal use for a piece of porcelain of this age.

This is a heavy well made bowl of fine porcelain that would make an excellent addition to any Austrian or porcelain collections!
