Our Family, Our Shop, Our Factory and Our Business

Java Gallery is owned by Rein and Linda Pille. Rein, a semi-retired airline captain married Linda, a native Sundanese from West-Java, in 1994 and began their export business from their home in Bali. They now own a showroom, retail shop and factory in Oberoi near Kuta on the island of Bali.

Java Gallery’s success has come as a result of the personal attention to detail that Rein, Linda and their family in Bali give to every order. They know that your satisfaction with their products and service must always come first.

At Java Gallery’s factory in Bali the exceptionally talented crafters who create our unique pieces use hand tools and techniques passed down in family traditions for over a thousand years. The pieces we design, build and offer you are more than just functional or practical; they are living works of art.

Our Materials and Wood Harvest Policies

Java Gallery’s unique hand-crafted furnishings, carved doors and art treasures are made from the finest tropical hardwoods such as Java Teak, Suar and Kayu Mas. Teak is naturally insect-resistant and will last lifetimes. All of our new teak wood products and garden furniture is responsibly harvested and replanted to ensure a healthy and sustainable environment in these beautiful tropical islands.

Java Gallery welcomes inquiries and orders from individuals, retailers, distributors and the interior design trade. Ordering with us is easy, and we carry a large inventory in our Bali showroom. We cordially invite you to call us, e-mail us or visit us any time. We accept orders large and small, up to and including multi-40 foot container loads. Linda’s Sundanese (West-Java) heritage and extensive family contacts endow her with the unique ability to locate rare antiques and one-of-a-kind objects not normally available to Western brokers. We can custom manufacture furnishings or other objects from either your design or ours. We offer generous industry discounts to qualified wholesalers and to the trade, and because we are manufacturers and shippers, our prices on retail orders are unbeatable.

Shipping Info

• We ship from Bali to most destinations World-Wide.

• 48 Hour shipping:  We make every effort to ship within 48 hours of receipt of payment excluding weekends and holidays.

• Small Package Shipments: We mostly use UPS.  Please indicate if you prefer another method and we will try to accommodate you.

• Large Package Shipments: We use common carriers.  All common carriers require a phone number from you to be able to ship to your address.  P.O. Boxes are not acceptable. Shipments will be to your curbside.  If you require delivery inside of your building, please email that request.  There will  be a price increase in the shipping cost for this service.  

• Shipping to a POI Terminal for large items:  If you would like a cheaper price on shipping we could provide a quotation to the nearest POI (Point Of Entry) shipping terminal to your home.  You would be required to pick up from the terminal.

• All Items in Stock:   All items either in our store or up for bid are currently in stock in our showroom in Bali and ready for immediate shipment.

• Confirmed Address:  We need a confirmed address with a zipcode to ship.  If you do not have a confirmed address, please email us to discuss further.

Payment Methods

• Paypal Preferred:  We prefer payment through Paypal! 

• Cashier's check or Money Order must clear before we will ship.

• Payment must be received within 7 days of close of auction

• There are no Sales Taxes due on sales.
   

Terms & Conditions

• 14 Day Guarantee:  We provide a 14 days guarantee on all of our items. This 14 day period starts after receipt of the item.  If the product does not meet your requirements, please return within 14 days for a full cash refund.  

• Return Policy:  If you return an item back to us, you will receive a full cash refund in the amount that you paid for the item.

• Shipping Return Policy:  If the Buyer returns the item the Buyer is responsible for shipping the item back to us in Bali, Indonesia. Shipping Costs back to Bali are Buyers Responsibility.

• These are Unique Products:  Each item from us is hand-made from start to finish. Many traditional “Old World” methods are used in the construction of these unique pieces. The individual workmanship may cause slight differences in measurements and finish. This solid wood product constantly responds to it’s environment, therefore, the furniture has a subtle distressed look. Some splitting, cracking, chipping and glazing may occur.  If you want some perfect looking furniture made out of veneer by a machine then we are not your supplier.   However, if you want furniture and accents with history and a unique feel then please proceed. The imperfect nature of the wood and finishing methods create an antique but spirited look that is part of the charm and appeal of the product. Please be aware that these blemishes and imperfections are non-structural in nature and are to be expected.
