This authentic, rare and elegant piece of Roman history was discovered in the custody of a private antique collector in Sidon, south of Beirut in an extremely well preserved manner. It is obvious by observing the pictures presented that this piece has withstood the stress of time due to encrustation and stresses, but this marvelous artifact has been well preserved and professionally handled. By looking at the subject from the front angle, it is clear that the face’s features are well visible. It is an item of great beauty and elegance which would surely serve as an extravagant piece for decoration.
