This is a very special auction for all the hot sauce collectors of the world, not to mention music lovers of all shapes & sizes.
You are bidding on one bottle of Bill Wharton's Liquid Summer hot sauce. Bill Wharton, also known as the "Sauce Boss" has been feeding people with his unique combination of Florida blues, gumbo, and hot sauce for over 15 years! From his website,
ONE MORNING IN THE EARLY 70'S, THE SAUCE BOSS WALKED OUT OF HIS HOUSE AND FOUND A 1933 VINTAGE NATIONAL STEEL GUITAR in his front yard. That led him down the Blues path. Deep in the shed, he penned “Let the Big Dog Eat”, which was featured in Jonathan Demme’s film “Something Wild”. Years later he combined his blues with his hot sauce in a big pot of gumbo, made right on stage. Singing the recipe, he mixed his music and cooking together into a new medium.
The winning bidder will receive one bottle of Liquid Summer autographed & personalized specifically for him/her. Talk about a collectible...this will be a #1/1 that no one else in the world will have!
All 100% of the proceeds of this auction will go to benefit the Autism Society of America. This charity event,
"Hot Rock for Autism,"
is sponsored by the folks at The Hot Zone Online Blog, found at:
The winning bidder will receive the autographed bottle shipped directly from Bill Wharton. The costs of shipping & handling are included in the price of the winning bid.
