This South American bocote is very hard and dense. It has similar working properties to many rosewoods. Because the tree grows so slowly, you are looking at a dense and stable neck blank.
Our bocote is striking with dark mottled striping over a caramel colored background. It has gold, dark brown and light caramel colors. It is dry, stable and ready to work.
