Here is a most lovely vintage Cissy.

She has a marvelous, not often seen, side part hairdo which is a shiny tosca color, uncombed and hairbar in place.  Beautiful face with cheek color a soft pink and luscious lips.  Cystal clear blue eyes. No eyelashes missing.  I found no splits, stains, cracks on her body or limbs and no rubs to her face. Has all her fingers.  I would call her excellent or even mint condition.

She has her original panties, very crispy mint. Nylons original but one has a very small hole under the sole of her foot and cannot be seen with her shoes on.  Her high heels are a pastel pink elastic strap mule type. Her half slip has nice fitting elastic at the top and I believe it is original although untagged I have seen these before on Cissy dolls that had tea-length dress on. This slip appears laundered and pressed and in very very good condition.

Her dress is a bit of a combination of factory made (bodice) and handmade (skirting with tulleing. ) Someone at some point did a fairly good job at salvaging what once must have been a gorgeous Cissy dancing dress that probably had a knife pleating skirt with this colorful Chantilly lace bodice.  There is no clothing tag on this dress. The underskirt is pink taffeta and the tulle overskirt is a pastel pink. There are a couple of vintage flowers attached in a couple of places.  I have added a pair of pastel pink gloves and a pink feather boa.

If my photos make this dolls face look darker than normal it is not. Just not the best lighting when I took the photograph. Please feel free to email me any questions you might have, as I am not an expert on Cissy dolls or their clothing.  I did not detect any foul odors and mine is a non-smoking home. Vintage dolls are not to be consider as brand new and are sold as is and final unless grossly misrepresented and will not reimburse for any shipping insurance costs.  I will only ship  within the United States.
