Considered to be Azimuth's signature collection, the BMF expounds bold, industrial machismo with racecar allusions and creative aesthetics. It is a tribute to all men with a thirst for all things fast and furious. Indeed, the BMF bears testament to Azimuth's strength in combining avant garde designs with mechanical complications.
Every aspect of the BMF bears witness to Azimuth's stringent craftsmanship and attention to details. The case is forged out of hardy 316L solid steel blocks, CNC cut into signature tonneau shapes in no less than 80 arduous steps.
The watch's tri-block case construction, comprising of bezel, mid-case and case back, gives depth and complexity to the watch. To prevent unauthorized tampering, the bezel is secured by 10 Torx screws and requires a unique Torx driver to unlock the case.
The featured watch is an Azimuth Base Mecha-1 BMF in Stainless Steel measuring 47x43mm. It has a Tonneau Shaped Case with 8 screws and a Black Carbon Fiber Dial with fantastic Applied Silver-Toned Arabic Numerals, Luminous Silver-Toned Hour, Minute and Sweep Seconds Hands at Center, and a Date Display Window at 6 o'clock. Exhibition Caseback with Automatic Movement and Water Resistance to 30 meters.
Personal Note--This is an amazing watch! The case size, shape and design are excellent, and the dial is reminiscent of a robot. The numerals are great too and with the Panerai strap, it has a top notch look.
