Old Authentic 2,5" = B (Bergen) =  Norwegian fishing glass float/buoy

    Item description:

   This auction is for a green Norwegian glass fishing float. It is an old authentic working buoy that was used for fishing in the Levanger area, Trøndelag, Norway. It is marked as an embossed letter 'B' on its seal. This float was made at Bergen Glassworks in the period 1885-1927. The size of the float is approx. 2,5 inches (the tennis ball size) in diameter. With original cotton netting. Tiny Bergen buoys are not often to find. There are no damages on it, no cracks. In general it is of an excellent condition. Very beautiful old glass float!

This glass buoy will make a nice addition to your collection and a stunning maritime decoration!

Due to expensive postage rates at Norwegian postal services we do our best to let you save up on shipping. Please, do not hesitate to contact us if you would like to purchase more than one float from us - we will hold your purchases until you bought the desired amount of items. In many cases we can safely pack 2-3 floats in one box for the same shipping costs as for one, but of course, it depends on the items' size and weight. We will always provide the shipping quote for multiple items, just let us know what exactly you would like to have combined.

 All items from our store are shipped by airmail.

  Insurance:

  Optional. Although we do our best to pack the items as well as possible for the maximum safe transit, we are not responsible for the items' damage or loss on the way. Please note that no refund is being issued for uninsured lost or damaged packages.
