B-BOY RECORDS MASTERWORKS 4 discs complete 2008 B-boy Records/ Traffic Ent. Incredible record-nerd work of devotion to old school hip hop: they cataloged, remastered and encoded EVERY SINGLE RECORD ever done by B-Boy Records back in the day, including instrumentals, acapellas, remixes, etc. -- EVERYTHING ever released on vinyl during B-Boy's original era (sadly no previously unreleased stuff, but hey-- there's 19 HOURS of music here, that should be enough for you). includes all the legends and lesser-knowns: Boogie Down Productions, Levi 167, JVC Force, Cold Crush Brothers, Spyder D, Sparky D, Paul C., and many other obscure artists from early 80's NYC. Many of these original 12" singles would cost you a paycheck on ebay (IF you could find them). I challenge laptop DJs and remixers to create a megamix using all these recordings-- mash up acapellas over other beats, make blends, etc. These are MP3 dvds, encoded at high quality 320kbps stereo, will work in most modern cd players, OR you can dump right into iTunes or your Serato or other DJ emulation software. Also includes the booklet with photos of the original studio reels, rare info regarding the releases, promo photos, AND the limited edition B-Boy t-shirt (100% ring-spun cotton, XXL) included with some copies of the box set (rare).
