B&G Bing Grondahl 1970 Amalienborg Royal Palace

Offered for auction: A very pretty (and large) hangable porcelain plate from Bing and Grondahl of Denmark. It commemorates "The Royal Palace" and is dated 1970.

This rich blue plate (darker than the flash of the camera makes it look) is 9 inches wide. It is in excellent condition, with no flaws that I can find. There is a double-hole punch on the footed base for hangers, with a thick gold cord.

This piece is stamped (photos above) with the mark for B&G, Copenhagen Porcelain, Denmark. There is a blue initial that looks like "IA" and the numbers 8000/9170. Finally, it reads "Amalienborg / The Royal Palace."
