CONDITION: B STOCK. There are some dark spots in the ebony fingerboard, as shown in the pics. These are natural spots and really not a blemish. There are a couple of light scratches/marks on the coverplate & tailpiece. The worst is shown at the flag.
This reso was set up by a top Nashville luthier with DAddario J42 strings. These strings are heavier than stock and produce more volume with a better tone. It plays with great action & intonation.
This model differs from other Gold Tone models due to its SOLID MAHOGANY construction and upgraded appointments. The Solid Mahogany body, back & sides produce the sweet tone of solid wood. As you can tell by the pics, there are some very nice pieces of Mahogany on the front and back. The premium Mahogany, in addition to the maple binding & custom fretboard inlays, make this a strikingly beautiful instrument.
