GRADING OF ITEMS; is important to collectors of S&S and Sci-Fi. I grade carefully and will err on the side of caution

VERY FINE; A nearly new paperback; may have been read but no cover crease is obvious. No markings or imprints.

FINE; Excellent condition, gloss remaining on covers, pages closer to white, maybe slight tanning. No repair of any kind, very slight wear to book, has been carefully read. Crease to cover may be visible upon inspection, but does not rule, Owners name or stamp may be present.

VERY GOOD; Or Near Fine; shows some signs of wear. Gloss remaining on covers, may have minor creases or slight spine roll, pages maybe ivory in tone. May have some minor chipping or cracks, owners name or stamp may be present.

GOOD; An average copy showing wear, though not yet falling apart. Spine may be loosening top or bottom, may have small repair (tape). Pages maybe more tan than white. Creases may be evident in cover. May have some watermarks, chipping, or cracks.

FAIR/ ACCEPTABLE RC; Reading copy showing some considerable wear, though not yet falling apart. May be taped, spine might have loosening, top and bottom. Pages are tan more than white. Heavy creases in cover; may have watermarks or stains.

A Quick Note on New/Mint I will rarely if ever use these terms, by definition vintage items can't be New/Mint and Very Good. It is or it isn't. Remember before you bid or buy ask! I don't like unpleasant surprises and I'm sure you don't either

I purchase from a variety of resources; Internet, Estate sales, eBay auctions & others. I am knowledgeable and able to grade items accurately, however as a dealer I can not attest to whether items have come from a pet and or smoke free environment. I attempt a thorough examination of each item, with genuine antiquarian collectibles I try to keep the handling to a minimum.
