Vintage lace, antique clothing, vintage hats
Description:  FABULOUS vintage 40's day dress with great padded shoulders. It is fashioned of a wool bodice and a RAYON taffeta skirting. It is a heavy grade of taffeta that has the feel of a silk; it burn tested rayon.  The closure is a FRONT loop and button closure with a tie at the neckline AND a side zip metal closure.  The circular swing bottom on the skirting measures 116" around! You can dance, dance, dance in this one.

Age:  Vintage 40's WWII era

Color:  Black with cream lace trim

Content:  Bodice is wool, skirting is rayon taffeta

Condition:  Very good.  The dress is in really fine wearable condition.   Flaws include 2 tiny pinholes in the bodice front.  and a small stain on the lower bodice front that looks removeable; Fabric belt is missing.

Size:  Will fit up to 36" bust, 26" waist.  Hip is open.
