Baby Banz protect your child's eyes from harmful sun rays. They were designed in Australia and are clinically tested to provide 100% UV protection. There is a soft wrap-around strap so that glasses stay on (no hard eyepieces to poke baby!). The Velcro also allows for flexibility; the sunglasses can grow with your child.

The frames are made of tough, shatter-resistant polycarbonate (the same material that safety glasses are made from), not plastic. The lenses can be replaced with prescription lenses. The glasses float in water. There is a six-month warranty on the frames (but not scratched lenses, which are considered normal wear).

Special Sizing Note: The company makes two sizes: Baby Banz and Kidz Banz. The official size range for Baby Banz is a head circumference of 17-20.5 inches (43-52 centimeters). Kidz Banz fit between 19-21.5 inches (48-54.5 centimeters). When you are at the low end of the range the Banz are pretty loose. If you are at about a 19 inches (48 centimeters) and debating between Baby and Kidz size I strongly recommend the Baby size. They will fit better and adjust up; you will still have a full season of wear in them. I would recommend not trying Kidz Banz until you are at 19.5 inches (49.5 centimeters). To measure head circumference without a fabric measuring tape wrap a string around your child's head near the eyes; measure the string.

If you have a newborn or little one under 7 months, I recommend buying the color that you would like and adding a piece of lamb's wool fabric or fleece between the strap and the back of baby's head, so they fit sooner.

Not to mention, Baby Banz look really cool!

All Other Countries - $5.00

Just add $.50 to ship each additional pair (even international).

My default US shipping method is via USPS first class mail. Insurance is automatically included. They get to most U.S. addresses in 2-4 days. I ship every weekday and some Saturdays. I live less than a mile from a Post Office and am known for my speedy shipping. I now ship with tracking numbers. Shortly after shipping a tracking number will be emailed to you. You can check the progress online or over the phone.

At the same time, I recognize that many folks are rushing to get their Banz in time for a vacation. I offer a Priority upgrade. Priority packages are sorted first at the post office. They also take 2-3 days to anywhere rather than 'usually' arriving in 2-3 days as is the case with first class mail. If you are pushing a deadline I recommend spending the $1.85 extra for priority shipping for the peace of mind. Priority packages also ship with tracking.

If you are really in a rush try express shipping - or you can ask me to ship to your vacation desination directly.

International packages go USPS first class international mail (airmail). The time quoted is 7-10 days. However, this varies greatly with your country's customs processing. My experience is Canada takes up to three weeks, whereas the UK takes about one week. International packages do not come with tracking, but are insured.
