About This Sling

This sling is a custom made sling made just for you so baby is secure and you do not have to bother with constantly readjusting those slings or other contraptions that are on some slings.  The way this is custom made just for you is when you purchase this sling you send me your measurement and I then will create your sling.  As some of you have experienced, as I know I have, you go out and purchase a sling in a size that is recommended for you only to receive the sling and then in turn not feel secure letting go of your baby.  My measurement is a half number so I was recommended to go up a size, I did this and the sling did not fit.  I made my own and now can do all things around the house that need to be done.  I can do the laundry, the dishes and shop all with my baby on my hip while still having the mobility of both hands and arms.  Once your baby starts packing on those pounds it can be very hard to carry your baby around and get things done! 

You can carry your baby in several different positions.  On your hip (like in picture), front carry, cradle carry, tummy - to - tummy or kangaroo carry.  There are many benefits to having your baby in a sling, near you for much of the day.  Plus they LOVE it!

Measurements / Print Choice

I have 11 different prints to choose from.   Once you checkout with PayPal, you put in the notes what print you would like and your measurement.  The way you take your measurement is from the top outside edge of your shoulder bone, down across your body to the opposite hip bone.  Take this measurement loosely but not where the measuring tape is sagging.  If you are pregnant or recently had your baby, take your measurement across your back.  Most people will have their measurement in the 20's.

Measure from the front, outside edge of your shoulder bone across your body to your opposite top hip bone. 

Additional Features

• Each sling is double layered with fabric.  This is to help insure extra security as well as helping in the appearance of the sling.  There is no back of fabric to be seen while wearing your sling.
• The pocket seam (where baby lays / sits) is triple stitched and not single stitched like many other slings.
• Sling can be used from newborn up to 35 lbs. 
• Padding is an additional $3.50.  Padding is located where the baby would be sitting while in the hip carry position.  It helps to cushion those chubby lil' thighs.

Optional Matching Diapers and Wipes Carrying Case

This diapers and wipes carrying case offers room for one hard travel wipes case and 2-4 diapers (depending upon diaper size) and one small tube of diaper rash cream.  These are great for when you have to go somewhere but would prefer not to carry the big, bulky diaper bag.  Each carrying case features a wristlet strap which is top - stitched for extra strength and durability (not shown).  Each carrying case is an additional $7.95.

Payment

I accept payment through PayPal or Revolution Money Exchange and with money orders.  I require payment within 3 business days so I can update inventory with other listings and get your sling made and ready to ship.  Please make sure you pay asap and put in the notes which print you would like.  This is the best way to insure you get the print you have your eyes on.  Any questions about this policy, please contact me.

 Shipping/Return Policy

Shipping is $3.75 and each additional product purchased is an additional $1.60.  The shipping cost includes delivery confirmation and tracking.  Priority shipping is a flat $4.75.  If you have friends who are also interested, I can ship all slings in a flat rate Priority box for $9.80.  I can fit approximately 6 - 8 slings in each box.

In most instances the product will not be able to be returned/exchanged unless there is a product defect. Since these are hand sewn by me, I would not send a defective product.  I require a return within 7 business days.  In the case of a return/exchange, customer will pay shipping fees both ways.  Original shipping fees will not be returned.  Please make sure you take your measurement correctly as this will be the buyers responsibility if sling does not fit properly.  If you have questions about taking your measurement, please contact me.

Products are shipped via USPS using First Class Mail.   Insurance is an additional $1.65 to insure delivery of your products and no damage through the postal service(this is optional). Shipping to Canada is $4.50.  I am more than happy to ship to other countires, including APO and FPO addresses.  Please contact me prior to purchase for a shipping cost and payment instructions.

I ship packages on Tuesdays and Fridays...sometimes sooner.
