Banana Silk Yarn -100 gram skeins 

Banana silk is another wonderful yarn handspun in Nepal made from banana fibers. The colors are hand dyed and they are beautiful.  There are no dye lots so the colors may vary slightly.  The yarn has a nice glossy finish to it.  This yarn is space dyed beautiful summer colors of Cantaloupe, Watermelon and Honeydew.

This yarn is wonderful for making unique handcrafted items.  This is a nice chunky yarn, approximately 70 yards per 100 gram skein. Sold individually, price is per skein. 

This is a fair trade item that helps women's groups in Nepal earn an income.
