This is the newest version and full version of Band in a Box MegaPak for Windows.   NEW, UNUSED, in UNOPENED SEALED BOX.   The Megapak version of Band In A Box Includes: Everything in the regular Band In A Box package including the main Band-in-a-Box program - PLUS - ALL styles sets, ALL soloists sets, the melodists, hundreds of songs and instructional videos.   If you were to purchase all the style sets seperately, you'd spend over $1000, so this is a great savings. The Megapak also includes a wider variety of drum samples for use with the RealDrums feature.

Band-in-a-Box is an intelligent music accompaniment software program. You can create, hear and play along to many song ideas and go from "nothing" to "something" in a very short period of time with Band-in-a-Box as your "on demand" backup band.

Just type in the chords for any song using standard chord symbols (like C, Fm7 or C13b9), choose the style you'd like, and Band-in-a-Box does the rest. Band-in-a-Box automatically generates a complete professional quality arrangement of piano, bass, drums, guitar and strings in a wide variety of popular styles. (Jazz, Pop, Country, Classical and more.)

Features
Over the years many features have been added to Band-in-a-Box - Notation, Lyrics, Melody Tracks, Harmonization, and a programmable StyleMaker. The Soloist and the Melodist are two major "intelligent" features; the Soloist generates professional quality solos over any chord progression, the Melodist can create songs from scratch with Chords, Melodies, Intros and Solos.

Band-in-a-Box for Windows can also record an acoustic instrument or voice to add to the composition, with processing through DirectX audio effects. Its built-in audio harmonies will turn your audio track into multiple harmony parts and even adjust its pitch by tracking the Band-in-a-Box Melody track.

You can choose a variety of ways to save your music. Print out your finished creation, save it as a graphic file, burn it directly to an audio CD, or save it as a Windows Media File or in other compressed formats for a file that's "Internet ready."

Chords from MP3 - This amazing feature automatically figures out the chords from any MP3, WAV or WMA audio file, and displays them in Band-in-a-Box. Just load in any MP3 file and you’ll instantly see the chords in Band-in-a-Box.

RealDrums - These are audio drum styles that replace the MIDI Drum track with actual recordings of top studio Jazz/Rock/Country drummers! These are not “samples” of single drum hits; they are full recordings, lasting from 1 to 8 bars, playing along in perfect sync with the other Band-in-a-Box tracks. The results are dramatically better than MIDI.

Reharmonist - This feature generates a chord progression based only on the melody for a complete or portion of a song. Use the feature interactively by displaying a menu of possible chord progressions and audition them to choose the best one.
