The2FunAdGuyz offer a large (approximately 11" X 17") new, high-quality, reproduction print of a remarkable and historic baseball publicity photo capturing the legendary Babe “The Bambino” Ruth in 1920, shortly after the New York Yankees purchased his talents from the Boston Red Sox. The original sports photograph, on which this print is based, was autographed “Very Truly Yours, ‘Babe’ Ruth" in white ink prior to its submission to U. S. Copyright Office and that autograph is clearly visible on the photograph. This photograph would make a great father’s day gift or any special occasion honoring a baseball fan.

DESCRIPTION: In the photo a slender and somber Babe—wearing the fabled pin stripes of the New York Yankees for the first season—looks fit and ready to embark on the 1920 season that would see the first of several records breaking seasons with the Yankees. All of the troubles are in the future, but at this moment “The Bambino” looks ready for whatever is coming. This is an incredible photo, especially when enlarged to this size. It will make a great companion to the other Babe Ruth photos we have in our store.
