Since his debut in Detective Comics #27, Batman has become one of the best-known comic heroes of all time. Created by the legendary Bob Kane, Batman is one of the rare characters who have transcended comics to become cultural icons. Batman (a.k.a. Bruce Wayne) protects the citizens of Gotham City from a never-ending array of criminals. Over the years, his foes have included such famous villains as Joker, The Penguin, Catwoman, and countless others.

Where once he was a fairly straightforward super-hero (complete with Robin, the boy sidekick), Batman has been transformed over time into an increasingly complex character. Now he is the Dark Knight, an avenger of evil who also must face up to the darkness within his own soul.

We include high resolution scans of each individual book for a reason; specifically to offer as honest a presentation of condition as possible. That being said, we make NO OFFICAL GUARANTEE as to the grade or condition of these books. There's just WAY too many varying opinions as to what constitutes a 'Near Mint' book, especially in an online format such as eBay. We ask that you understand and appreciate this fact before you bid as we do not allow returns (unless the item in question differs greatly from that which is pictured, of course). Just know that we try to be as open and honest about all of our listings as possible. What we can offer in the way of a assurance is this:

Each issue has been carefully stored with a bag and backing board in a non-smoking, humidity controlled environment since received. Books will be shipped with bags/boards in a sturdy cardboard box - no flimsy envelops here folks! - to ensure condition remains as pictured above.

**Payment and Shipping Info**

Preferred payment by PayPal, and we will ship within 2 business days to ensure a speedy delivery. All funds must be in U.S. Dollars.

Winner pays shipping based on destination and method of delivery (see chart below for estimated shipping fees) with the assurance that extensive measures will be taken to ensure proper packaging and safe transport. We always try to offer the most affordable option while still keeping your items well protected - if you need a quicker form of delivery, just let us know and we'll do our best.

We are willing to combine shipping if you are interested in more than one of our auctions, just let us know and we can work something out. If you are concerned about your package arriving safely, then we highly recommend selecting the insurance option that we include for every auction.
