Depicting the final naval battle of the Spanish-American War, the Battle of Santiago de Cuba which resulted in a decisive victory for the US Navy and the complete destruction of the Spanish fleet

From " The United States Army And Navy " by Lieutenant - Colonel A.Wagner and Commander J.D.Kelley which details the history of these two forces from revolution to the end of the Spanish - American war.

This an original chromolithograph print published in 1899 by The Werner Company and not to be confused with later issues or reprints.

Very fine, virtually unmarked condition with bright, rich colouring.

Measuring approx. 13" x 9" (330mm x 230mm) image area only with titled margins beyond , perfect for framing.
