If you've been following recent events on WALL STREET, you'll recognize the name of the Brokerage Firm that has now gone Broke!  Pardon the Pun but it just slipped out!  Actually BEAR STEARNS is and has been a very highly respected Financial Organization that was unfortunately caught in the Meat-Grinder of recent events in the Mortgage Market.  I've been told by friends who have worked for them that it's a Great Company which has now been absorbed by another Financial Giant.

This Certificate was purchased in the 1970s, registered with Chase Manhattan Bank and countersigned by Manufacturers Hanover Trust! 

Talk about a Keepsake that is well worth framing and putting in that special place on your wall!

The Certificate itself is a beauty!  A bold, deep-violet color and featuring an extremely attractive Vignette of a Young Woman seated primly before the Skyline of a Metropolis!
