BEAUTIFUL 14K SOLID GOLD FOB WATCH WEIL GENEVE c1900

This 14k rose gold fob watch is in virtually mint condition. The pin set cylinder movement is working well. I estimate that it dates from around 1900.

The case is in very good condition with no dings, dents or scratches. The outer surfaces are engraved with a crisp engine turned pattern. It measures 30mm in diameter and 13mm deep. The rear cover is marked internally with the MDD markers mark, the case serial number and the European Assay marks for 14k gold. The inner dust cover is signed ‘Weil Freres – Fabricants – Geneve’. The synthetic watch glass is clear and unmarked.

The white enamel dial is very clean with no hairlines, chips or cracks.

The jewelled Swiss cylinder movement is clean and working well. It is wound by the crown and set by the crown whilst pressing the adjacent pin.

Please refer to the photographs for more detail. Please appreciate that the magnified images show detail much greater than would be visible with the naked eye. Any dark patches or marks on the highly polished surfaces are almost certainly reflections of my camera.
