This beautiful quilt is a wonderful example of the classic Flower Garden pattern.
Hand pieced Flower Garden blocks with yellow centers surrounded by a variety of solid hexagons then a ring of coordinating prints. White background & green hexagons between the blocks. Set off with a green border.
83" x 87". Cotton fabrics.
Each hexagon measures 2 1/2" in size.
Excellent condition. Crisp, with a few small spots & no wear - see pictures.
Hand quilted inside seam perimeters at 8 stitches to the inch.
Thin batting. White backing. Green hand stitched binding.
