You are bidding on an absolutely beautiful bastone fiddleback walnut gunstock blank. "Bastone doesn't get any better then this."

Bastone walnut is a cross between English walnut and black walnut and is the most dense and strongest of any walnut.

This blank has an absolutely beautiful display of intense fiddleback, multiple intense colors and IDEAL GRAIN FLOW THROUGHOUT ENTIRE BLANK AND IS IDEAL FOR ANY AND ALL CALIBERS. PERFECT GRAIN FLOW IS WHEN THERE IS A CONTINOUS LINE OF GRAIN FROM FOREARM TO BUTT, WHICH THIS BLANK HAS. Words just can not do this blank justice so please see pictures.

The blank is oversized at 35 5/8" long, 7 3/4" wide at butt, 3" at forend, and is overly thick at 3". Blank does have a minor crack at the butt, but it shouldn't come into affect.

Blank has been air dried for 13 years so it is definately ready to be used TODAY!!!
