BEAUTIFUL FRENCH clock with Inlaid Mother of Pearl and Abalone? I’m excited to offer this beautiful French clock by the famous maker Farcot, fresh from an Ocala, Florida estate. As you can see, the case is slightly dusty but maintains its original finish in superlative condition for its age. I’m sure you’ll be even more excited once it’s been dusted! I suspect this clock is 150 years old. My estimation is Circa. 1850. WOW! The skeletonized Farcot movement with Brocot escapement visible in the open dial is BREATH TAKING! Just look at the condition of the original dial, it is near mint with only minimal signs of age and discoloration. That’s always a crowd pleaser. Look at the original blued steel hands. The detail on the inlaid case is absolutely spectacular. Though there are a couple areas of lifting, it is exceptionally nice compared to most inlaid clocks of this age. The clock movement is marked with various trademarks as you can see in the photo. The clock is running and keeping excellent time but I’m certain adjustments may be needed after shipping. A vintage replacement key is included so this piece is ready to provide many years of service and happiness. I will also include the old paperwork with an old estimate, history of the manufacturer, some history of ownership and an old picture of this clock. THIS IS ONE FINE CLOCK YOU DON’T WANT TO MISS!!!!!!!!! Someone will be very happy with this purchase, will it be you? FREE POSTAGE WITHIN USA!!!
