RUBY is one of the rarer dolls that was lovingly designed by internationally renowned artist Pauline Bjonness--Jacobsen as a limited and numbered edition of only 500.   She is number 214 as shown in the photograph.     RUBY has lovely violet eyes and long shimmering red hair, flowing down her back.      RUBY is dressed in a stunning cream taffeta dress, beautifully enhanced with exquisite embroideries of pink, lemon and blue flowers, all done individually by hand.      On her feet are white socks and matching taffeta slippers with pink rosebuds.    On her head she has a straw bonnet trimmed with a pink satin ribbon finished off in a large bow decorated with pink, white and lemon rosebuds.      Beneath her dress is a lace  trimmed petticoat and matching lace trimmed bloomers.     Her sweet expression is delicately hand-painted and her head, arms, and legs are hand--crafted of fine porcelain.    RUBY was lovingly designed by  Pauline Bjonness--Jacobsen and is issued in an individually hand--numbered worldwide Limited Edition of 500 pcs instead of the usual 900.    Certificate of authenticity and metal stand are included.     There is no box.  You have to have a least one of Paulines dolls to complete your doll collection, they are all beautiful. The family has taken her doll industry over but do not make this size dolls any more, they only make the little 8 inches.    She has been lovingly kept in a display cabinet.  She is about 18 inches.    THIS DOLL WOULD MAKE A GREAT GIFT FOR YOUR MOTHER  IF SHE COLLECTS DOLLS, OR MAYBE YOUSELF, SHE IS BEAUTIFUL, THANK YOU FOR LOOKING.  This doll is presently located in new jersey in  the US and I am selling on behalf of my sister with whom I am presently visiting.
