BEAUTIFUL antique PUBLIC SCHOOL - LIBBY MONTANA plate

A 7 1/2" wide antique china plate with a beautiful old scene of a public school with timber in the background. Plate looks a little smudged in the picture, it is nice and clear in real life with BOLD picture and printing.  

• Plate reads:  "PUBLIC SCHOOL / LIBBY, MONT."

• Back of plate reads: "DRESDEN / CHINA", with a motif of a flying bird.

• Condition:  Plate is in excellent condition, has very minor wear AND typical glaze crackling, including a faint hairline that runs in the center of the plate.
  

• Age:  An antique plate, ca. early 1900's.

• Shipping: Buyer pays $10.01 S/H which includes $1.75 for insurance ~ more if international - We ship every Wednesday. So if you pay with PayPal by Tuesday evening, we will ship your item Wednesday. Payments received later than that will have to wait until the following Wednesday to ship, though we can possibly make exceptions. There are very few antique items from old Libby, Montana.  This one is especially nice in that it has a picture of the old public school, sitting right amongst the timber.   Great detail in the picture including the bell tower, rock work, even the shingles on the roof.  The 'Dresden China' mark on the backside is one of the marks that antique dealer's look for in these old souvenir china pieces as this dates them as genuine antiques, 100 years old or so.  An exceptional piece, check it out!
