 I plant these all over the place here in Alabama, and the Hummingbirds & Butterflys just LOVE them all summer long!

Works GREAT in containers, beds, borders, old structures, mailboxes, wherever!

Just use your imagination!

Grows in pretty much ANY soil type, but appreciates rich moist soil, and will reward you with TONS more blooms for it!

Drought tolerant to some extent after established well, but prefers a moist location first year settling in good.

Does GREAT in part shade/mostly sunny areas.

Loves PART sun, but does OK in shade,

just not as many blooms on it!

 I fertilize mine a few times over spring & summer for more & bigger blooms faster.

You will LOVE this plant!

A true beauty in any & every garden for sure!

Comes back from ground every spring even if freezing occurs, just mulch, one tough plant!

If you are in doubt at all about your area, as far as frost is concerned, then just simply take your Mother Plant, chop off the foliage a good bit, and bring her inside, near a sunny window, OR even better, under a flourescent light, on a timer! :)

Hint... Use the chopped off foliage and flowers to make a MOST relaxing Herb tea!
