The Very hard to find "COMPACT VERSION" of TNI's ORIGINAL BENTO BOX
Why Compact, rather than Large? The compact version is perfect for those who prefer to carry less. It's perfect for the minamalist, sports or competition cyclist. This is a case of less is often more! The compact, being smaller, is less likely to contact your knees when you're climbing out of the saddle. It's small size lends well for placement other than against the Stem. For example I use the small bento's in a couple of places on my tandem to carry extra snacks or tubes or CO2 cartridges. A cyclist can place one of these in the opposite end of the top tube, and up against the Seatpost on any bicycle. I use the TRZ version, search under TRZ BENTO on Ebay for that version, on my TANDEM for the Gels, Cel and Endurolytes. I use the COMPACT Bento on my TREK Madone, to hold my Endurolytes capsules, Gels, and a Cel... I manage cram a lot of stuf into this little unit!

Bento Box is a "STIFF" nylon box that sits secure upon the top tube behind the stem. Although it was originally designed to specifically fullfill a need for the triathelete, this handy carrier has recently become a big hit for all recreational, marathon, performance, and touring cyclists alike!
This is the latest version, featuring the new "THICKER" and "STIFFER" nylon to resist sag and side to side drift.

It attaches as shown, and to the new Ahead type stems around the spacer stack and/or around extended head tubes with 4 velcro straps, 2 around the stem and 2 around the top tube.

Here's one of the handiest bicycle items I have come across in recent years.
