I recently had the opportunity to purchase hundreds of Masonic and Odd Fellows costumes and artifacts from several lodges. Some were founded in the Mid-Nineteenth Century. You are bidding on a exquisite fancy embroidered two piece Kings robe. The under robe is silk with elaborate embroidery. The cape is ultra heavy red velvet with an ermine like border. The silk robe has some light wear around shoulders and collar. The velvet cape has some edge wear and part of the silk liner is missing inside Beautiful FLT design on the chest with sewn glass jewels.See photos below. Measures 20" across shoulders, 25" across chest, 30" across waist and 56" top to bottom when flat on a table. Label reads Henderson Ames-Military and Society Goods,Kalamazoo, Mich.
