THE BEST MELLON FORM SILVER PLATE SERVICE I HAVE SOLD !

This is the most exceptional Victorian Silver Plate tea and coffee service, done in a Mellon pattern with Mellon flower finials, and what sets it above any other set I have sold is that is covered in bright cut decorations, even on the lids ! The entire service is simply marked with a Cannon symbol as seen in photos, I have had limited pieces by this fine English company over the years, but all have been of incredible quality. The coffeepot measures approx. 10" high x 9-1/2" across (from tip of spout to end of handle), the teapot measures approx. 5-3/4" high (excluding handle) x 12" across (from tip of spout to end of handle), the creamer measures approx. 5-1/2" high and the sugar bowl measures approx. 5" high. The service is a nice practical size for use and display, with the pots holding 5-7 cups, depending of course on the size of your cups. This is truly an exceptional service which is in excellent condition with hardly any use wear, certainly no wear to the base metal, repairs, dents or cracks, I am certain the new owner will be most impressed and their friends more than a little jealous ! This would also be an Heirloom quality gift for a newly wed couple or any lover of fine Silver in your life.
