"Watchtower" is the celebrated yearbook of one of the best known high schools (Beverly High) in

the country (if not the world).Currently celebrating it's 80th Birthday , Beverly Hills High School in

California,has long been the school of celebrities and their children.It has even been the backdrop

for " It's A Wonderful Life", one of the most cherished holiday films of all time (used for the dance 

scene in the school's gym where the floor seperates and everyone starts falling into the swimming

pool below). This 1969 edition of the yearbook is in very good condition. I am the original owner

and it is the year that I was a sophmore at  this most famous of U.S. High Schools( even spawning

Beverly Hills 90210, the famous t.v. show that ran for 10 years..although the actual school facade

was not used and it's not even in that zipcode). Several of my classmates over the years who went

on to their own celebrity include Star War's Princess Leah (Carrie Fisher),Miguel Ferrer,star of 

Crossing Jordan and son of Jose Ferrer and Rosemary Clooney, George's Aunt ). Even one of

our faculty members was bitten by the acting bug and is in this particular book.John Ingle

(picture 6), our esteemed drama coach, has been the face behind General Hospital's Edward

Quartermane for many years.  Also in this book are the kids and step children of Mel Torme,Hal

March and Ed Ames. Heck, even Marge Simpson (in the guise of Julie Kavner) graduated from

Beverly (although she had graduated by this year, she is pictured in the 1968 book that I'm offering).

Many other students have gone on to have Show Business careers behind and in front of the

cameras as actors, writers, directors, musicians and producers. There are world famous Drs,

Lawyers and Politicians throughout the book as well, but I'll make finding them your homework.

Although there are some wonderful color graphics in the book, all the fotos are black and white.

There are some 232+ pages of fotos and info on the school in this book. This book, it's cover, spine

and pages are in very good overall condition. This book has lived it's entire life in a smoke free

environment where it's been protected from the elements (wish I could say that about me). If

auction as I do not offer refunds and am selling this great piece of Hollywood memorabilia  "as is".

coffee table book as well (approximatley only 2,000 copies of this book were ever printed and of

course I have no idea how many of those may have survived these last 39 years, especially in this
