Here you are looking at one lot of 10 pieces of BPF420 High-frequency NPN Silicon Transistor.

This tiny silicon transistor is very popular in the market as its brother BFP520, it is commonly used in the varactor tuned oscillator or low-noise small signal amplifier, except that is is in lower frequency range.

With careful design, you can achieve 4 GHz oscillator. I come up a 2 to 4 GHz VCO in the past, as suggested by S53MV. You would find a lot of applications and design examples in the internet! I would recommend to take a look at Infinenon web-site for some application design as well. You would also find a 10GHz DRO design using BFP420 there as well although I would recommend the BFP520 instead of BFP420.

Note that they are all in tiny SOT-343 package. This chip is brand new stock in original sealed tape. So bid with confidence.

There is a add-on mod by DL5NEG on the Yaesu FT-817 here to receive 2.3 GHz signal by using the BFP420 as LNA and Buffer Amplifier.

Shipping and Handling:

• All S&H cost include free registered mail service and tracking number to be provided upon requested.
• All items are dispatched via Hong Kong Post Office unless otherwise stated. You may also want your items (more items I bet...) to be sent under your DHL or Fedex account, but please be patient for another day or two as I have to find and locate their outlets.
• Buyes pay all the shipping and handling charges. Unlike some other sellers, I charge low S&H ... and I accept combined shipment.

• All electronic parts are packed carefully with aluminium foil before packing. So they would be safe under X-ray machines in buyers' customs. If you find the items to be demaged, reports to me immediately and I would exchange it.
• Insurance is optional. Shipping without insurance is at buyer's own risk and I am not responsible for any demaged by the post service nor any lost during transportation. It is very rare, though, under registered mail service.
