Because the HT-85 incorporates a matching horn tweeter to the HT-63 surrounds and HT-64 bookshelf speakers, the HT-85 also delivers excellent performance when matched with these models. The HT-85 center speaker houses dual 8" woofers combined with an exclusively designed high efficiency 6 1/2" horn tweeter w/neodynium magnet to deliver wide dynamic range up to 119 dB output. Due to the larger 8" woofers in the HT-85 (verses 6 1/2" woofers in the HT-65) the HT-85 center speaker can play lower bass frequencies than the Acoustech HT-65 center.
