BIG BRAIN ACADEMY offers three basic modes for players to enjoy: practice, test, and versus. The players must work through progressively more difficult levels that test a variety of abilities from image recognition to mathematical problems, and even a little reading comprehension. If this is the first time players have ever experienced this type of game, then they will definitely want to check out the practice mode in order to get a better understanding of the controls. However, once they’re ready, players can go ahead and move onto the test mode. This is the real heart of the game and will keep players thinking long after it’s ended. Because the pace of the game will continuously increase until players are thinking on a frantic level as they play through the mini-games, they will begin running through the questions on little more than pure adrenaline and instinct. The versus mode allows for a multiplayer experience in which players challenge each other’s skills. Some gamers might consider this collection of mini-games something that is solely meant for younger players. However, BIG BRAIN ACADEMY is actually intriguing and engaging for players of all ages and is likely to make addicts out of all those who pick it up.
