Up for grabs is this terrific collection of all-different vintage autographs of classical musicians-- including composers, conductors, pianists, violinists, organists, and other instrumentalists-- on album pages, cards or cuts. All are in good to very good condition, with occasional handling dings, surface creases, soiling or staining. The assortment, which is being sold as-is, includes: Howard Dunham Barlow (1892-1972). Signed and inscribed 3x5-inch card, dated October 1, 1956. Ethel Bartlett (1896-1978) and Rae Robertson (1893-1956). Two separate jointly-signed light yellow 4x6-inch autograph album page, both acquired in-person and dated December 9, 1937. Each was folded vertically by the original collector. Alan Dudley Bush (1900-1905). Signed 4x5-inch pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s. Sir Norman John Fane, 11th Earl of Westmorland, Lord Burghersh (1784-1859). An extremely scarce 1x2-inch signature, clipped from the close of a letter dating to the 1830s and affixed to a larger tan card, 1.5x3 inches in size. Reginald Foort (1893-1980). Signature in blue fountain pen on a 3.5 x 5.5 slip of tan paper, dated August 21, 1941. Arthur Shattuck (1881-1951). Clipped signature, 2x6 inches in size, dated April 10, 1926. Alberto Semprini (1908-1990). Signature in bold blue ballpoint pen ink, clipped from the close of a letter on pale green stationery, and measuring 2 x 3.25 inches in size. Jascha Spivakovsky (1896-1970). Scarce 4x5-inch vintage card, boldly signed in black fountain pen ink and dated January 10, 1953 in Eduard Strauss II (1910-1969). Boldly signed one-page program for a Vienna concert Strauss directed in 1955, featuring the music of his illustrious forefather, Johann, and the great Austrian dance music composer Josef Lanner. Sir Vilém Tauský (1910-2004). Signature on an official BBC autograph card, 5x3 inches in size. Sir Kendall Taylor (1905-1999).
