BIG Collection of 50 Vintage Classical Music Autographs

Up for grabs is this terrific collection of all-different vintage autographs of classical musicians-- including composers, conductors, pianists, violinists, organists, and other instrumentalists-- on album pages, cards or cuts.  All are in good to very good condition, with occasional handling dings, surface creases, soiling or staining.  The assortment, which is being sold as-is, includes:

Howard Dunham Barlow (1892-1972).  Signed and inscribed 3x5-inch card, dated October 1, 1956.

Ethel Bartlett (1896-1978) and Rae Robertson (1893-1956).  Two separate jointly-signed light yellow 4x6-inch autograph album page, both acquired in-person and dated December 9, 1937.  Each was folded vertically by the original collector.

Alan Dudley Bush (1900-1905).  Signed 4x5-inch pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s.

Sir Norman Del Mar (1919-1994).  Uncommon  4x5-inch tan autograph album page, boldly signed in-person in blue ballpoint pen ink in the 1950s. 

John Fane, 11th Earl of Westmorland, Lord Burghersh (1784-1859).  An extremely scarce 1x2-inch signature, clipped from the close of a letter dating to the 1830s and affixed to a larger tan card, 1.5x3 inches in size. 

Reginald Foort (1893-1980).  Signed 4x5-inch pink autograph album page.

Piero "Pierino" Gamba (b. 1936).  Signed 4x5-inch card, acquired in-person in 1949, when he was 13 years old! 

 Kazimierz Gierżod (b. 1936).  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Ludwig Hoffman.  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Enrique Jorda (1911-1996).  Clipped 1.5 x 2-inch signature in bold black fountain pen dating to the 1940s.

Wilfred Josephs (1927-1997).  Scarce 38-page biographical booklet, boldly signed and dated 1992 in the inside cover.

Anatol Kaminksy (b. 1920).  A bold signature in black fountain pen on a 6x4-inch card, decorated with a small magazine photograph.

Karl-Heinz Kämmerling (b. 1930).  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Renna Kellaway.   Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which she served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Eda Kersey (1904-1944).  Scarce clipped signature in pencil, 1x3 inches in size.

Paul Kletzki (1921-1973).  A rare 4x6-inch light green autograph album page, boldly signed in-person in black fountain pen in the 1930s. 

Walter Landauer (1910-1983) and Marjan Rawicz (1898-1970).  Jointly-signed 3.5 x 5.5-inch autograph album page.

Poldi Mildner (b. 1915).  Uncommon autograph in bold blue fountain pen ink on a 4x6-inch pale green album page, acquired in-person and dated January 17, 1937.  Folded vertically by the original collector.

Nina Milkina (1919-2006).  Signed 4x5-inch pink autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s and decorated with a small newspaper image.

Werner Müller-Bech.   Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event. 

Franz Müller-Heuser (b. 1932).  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Ivor Newton (1892-1981).  Signed 5x7-inch album page.  Pepe Jaramillo signs on the verso.

Stanislas Niedzielski (1905-1975).  3x5-inch trimmed portion of a light blue autograph album page, acquired in-person in the 1950s. 

Louis Kentner (1905-1987).  5x7-inch concert program dating to the 1950s, signed in pencil.  Also autographed by operatic baritone Dennis Noble (1899-1966). 

John Roos.  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Lady Evelyn Rothwell (1911-2008).  3x5-inch tan autograph album page, boldly signed and dated 1949 in black fountain pen.  Sir Vilém Tauský (1910-2004) signs on the verso in 1952.  

Raymond Roze (1875-1920).  Uncommon signed letter on both sides of a 4.5 x 7-inch sheet of hotel stationery.

David Rubinoff (1897-1986).  Bold pencil signature on a 2.75 x 5-inch sheet of notebook paper.

Antoni Sala.  Scarce 1x3-inch signature in black fountain pen, affixed to a larger slip of pink paper.

Harold Samuel (1879-1937).  Rare signature in bold blue fountain pen,  2x3 inches in size, clipped from an autograph album page.

Sir Malcolm Sargent (1895-1967).  Signature in blue fountain pen on a 3.5 x 5.5 slip of tan paper, dated August 21, 1941.

Arthur Shattuck (1881-1951).  Clipped signature, 2x6 inches in size, dated April 10, 1926.

Alberto Semprini (1908-1990).  Signature in bold blue ballpoint pen ink, clipped from the close of a letter on pale green stationery, and measuring 2 x 3.25 inches in size. 

Jascha Spivakovsky (1896-1970).  Scarce 4x5-inch vintage card, boldly signed in black fountain pen ink and dated January 10, 1953 in London. 

Eduard Strauss II (1910-1969).  Boldly signed one-page program for a Vienna concert Strauss directed in 1955, featuring the music of his illustrious forefather, Johann, and the great Austrian dance music composer Josef Lanner. 

Sir Vilém Tauský (1910-2004).  Signature on an official BBC autograph card, 5x3 inches in size.

Sir Kendall Taylor (1905-1999).  Signature in bold blue fountain pen ink on a trimmed portion of an autograph album page, 2x6 inches in size, acquired in-person circa 1950. 

Maria Tipo (b. 1931).  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which she served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Valerie Tryon (b. 1934).  Signed 5x7-inch album page.  Royalton Kisch (b. 1911) signs on the verso.

Gottfried Von Einem (1918-1996).  Clipped signature in bold black fountain pen, 1.25 x 4.5 inches in size.

Gideon Waldrop (1919-2000).  A scarce 3x5-inch lined light blue card, boldly signed in black ballpoint pen ink in the 1970s. 

Herman Wasserman.  Clipped signature on a 2x7-inch slip of tan paper, dating to the 1920s.

Charles H. Webb.  Signed biography in German, clipped from a 1992 piano concert on which he served as a jury member, approximately 4.5 x 8 inches in size.  Acquired in-person at the event.

Mogens Wöldike (1897-1988).  1 x 5.25-inch clipped signature in bold turquoise fountain pen on a portion of a music program page, mounted to a slightly larger slip of pink paper.  Acquired in-person in England following a performance in the 1950s.
