BIRD 43 wattmeter multi range 50-100-250 watts 2-30 MHz

BRAND NEW BIRD 43 watt meter with multi-range kit installed and calibrated and a NEW 50H element. Comes with UHF female (SO-239) connectors, but you may have type "N" for no extra charge, please specify "N" if you wish.

This  mutli- range modification will allow you to have THREE ranges with ANY element that you put in.

This wattmeter comes with  a 50H (50 watt 2-30 MHz) element. With this element, you get 50, 100 AND 250 watt ranges from just this ONE element!
The key here is CALIBRATION of the meter and mod. We use an NIST traceable BIRD 6091 calorimeter for precise calibration of this meter and mutirange mod.

If you add a 500H element, you will have 50-100-250-500-1000-2500 watt scales from just TWO elements! 500H available separately.

You can use ANY other frequency range element you wish. For example, if you use a 5C, you get 5-10-25 watts full scale from 100-250 MHz, 5C sold separately.

SAVE MONEY on elements! Use ONE element where you used to use THREE elements!

Why do you buy a BIRD in the first place? One word ......... ACCURACY
This wattmeter is just as accurate (5% of full scale as per Bird specs) as using 3 individual elements. However, each H range (2-30 MHz) element now lists for $163.

There are junk wattmeters out there that claim to be "just as good as" a BIRD, this is nonsense! BIRD is the industry STANDARD! Why? Once again: ACCURACY!

There are those who may copy our multi-range modification but they cannot guarantee the accuracy of calibration by an NIST travceable LAB standard,
the BIRD 6091.
