I was going to call it the Spaghetti Western Swamp Surfer ... This kit contains all the parts and instructions necessary to CONVERT an Epiphone Valve Junior head into a stand-alone, 100% tube driven spring reverb unit. It includes a genuine 3 spring Accutronics tank, other quality parts and faceplate label as seen in the photo. "I will now proceed to entangle the entire area." OK… I now this may be confusing but I have 2 reverb kits for the Epiphone Valve Junior amp. I have been building prototypes for the last 2 years, several from scratch. 2 configurations have finally made it through the BitMo sausage grinder to be released as kits. My criteria for an acceptable BitMo product – · Must sound great · Must offer good value for the money · Must be easy enough to be built by actual guitar players (maybe even drummers ;^) without too much hand-holding from me (I have a day job.) The following table compares the 2 kits.
This is the BitMo Spring Reverb Unit conversion kit, a stand-alone reverb unit like the classics from Fender. You need to plug the new output jack into another guitar amp, mixer or FX loop. The conversion uses the tubes to drive the spring reverb tank and to recover and mix the signals. The speaker output jacks are still functional but the speaker volume will be low and clean. The reverb signal is not mixed in the speaker output.
The BitMo Spring Reverb Unit provides classic wet “surf-alicous” reverb. Use your guitar knobs to control guitar tone and level (dwell). The output jack contains a unity gain guitar preamp signal and the reverb mix. The LEVEL controls the amount of reverb in the mix – from just a touch to too much ;^)

The demos still use the old name. Even more confused? Tools you will need – drill and bits, screwdriver, soldering iron, solder, wire stripper, needle nosed pliers electrical tape.
I would classify this as medium difficulty - not recommended it as a first modding project. It takes 2-3 hours and does some restructures of the circuit. I assume no responsibility for the quality of your work. I’m sure you will love this project! It has been in development for a long time. I welcome questions and suggestions and appreciate your feedback.
