Instead of a pony tail why not wear a Doxie Tail!  These absolutely gorgeous Italian leather hair ties are a What's Up Dox exclusive.  They are handmade and handstitched by craftsman Gianni Raineri of La Cuoieria in Messina Italy. Made of the finest Tuscan leather known as Vancchetta, Gianni uses working and finishing techniques typical of the old Sicilian saddlers to craft the hair ties. The leather is rich black and one  of the cutest features is the ears which are movable and floppy just like real doxie ears.  The elastic band is stitched into the leather for long lasting wear and durability. Measures  4 inches from nose to tail.    And since a picture is worth 1000 words, below is a close up:
