WHOW....Look at the pictures, they tell you more than words, it´s hard to find such a very rare frame clock like this one. The complete clock is unrestored, but in fantastic condition, as you can see at the detailled pictures. The complete case is in original condition, and is made of ebonised wood. Only a very few old wormholes tell you the age of more than 150 years. The front door with the old glass coveres the fantastic original glass dial. The glass dial has paintings from behind in fantastic condition for the age of more than 150 years, and is framed by the original leaf gilding wooden frame. Look at the pictures, and you can confirm this. The hands are the original hands. Everything is fantastic, and in more than 30 years of collecting and selling clocks, we have never seen a Black Forest frame clock in this fantastic condition, shape, and style. When you remove the wooden back plate with the original spyral gong, you see the original wooden movement. The movement is a two weight driven 30 hour one and was checked by our master clockmaker. It works absolutely perfect with the original pendulum.  It strikes the half and the full hours ( hours will be counted ) on the original spyral gong, that is mounted on the wooden back plate.
