FABRIC CONTENT: no tag...lining is probably an acetate satin taffeta fabric

DESCRIPTION

FABULOUS vintage 80s prom dress in white with black POLKA DOTS. Fully lined bodice is strapless with boning up the sides. Sweetheart front neckline dips low in the back. VERY FULL gathered skirt with a center back ruffled section. There is a very full attached net crinoline. This is a ADORABLE vintage 80s dress!!

CONDITION: Very Good Used Vintage - No flaws noted. No wear or fading to the fabric. No holes, tears, spots or stains EXCEPT AS NOTED: a couple of tiny black marks on the front skirt...see pics...NOT readily noticeable. The center V of the neckline..on the lining there must have been something attached there that was cut off...see closeup. The bodice lining has some age yellowing and stress on the seams. Not seen from the outside. This has been cleaned and is ready to wear.

SIZE: no size tag (Will fit an EXTRA EXTRA SMALL well) (Please check the measurements given for a proper fit)

Around the chest: 28" (14" laid flat underarm to underarm) The manniquin has a 32 1/2" bust...we basted this dress on as it was too small.

Around the waist: 28 1/2"

Length down the sideseam: 41"

Vintage sizes are NOT the same as modern sizes, so it is VERY IMPORTANT that you FOLLOW THE MEASUREMENTS GIVEN. The only fool proof sizing method is to compare the measurements to something you already own. We measure with the item laid flat. Because we put measurements on all of our auctions and specify when the sizes are vintage, we can NOT be responsible for sizing problems.
