2) Will this hard shell case leave mark on my Asus Eee PC 1000 or scratch my Asus Eee PC 1000?
No, it will absolutely NOT leave mark on or scratch your Eee PC netbook.
As the top cover has no open cut, the dirt will NOT get between the top cover and your Eee PC top panel easily.
However, you may still need to take the top cover off and use a soft cloth to wipe off the dirt on the screen and top panel of your netbook once every month.

USAGE:

To put on the case:
1) Shutdown your Eee PC netbook and keep your Eee PC half open.
2) Place Eee PC netbook in bottom half of case, snap on the corners and back 'hooks'.
3) Place top half of the case on top of Eee PC netbook, snap on corners side by side.

To remove the case:
1) Pull the small tabs away from the Eee PC netbook corners to remove the case.
2) Open the Eee PC netbook and pull off the front corners first , then pop off the back.
