BLACKBEARD'S GHOST ~ U.S. Half-Sheet Poster NSS# 68/46 -~ WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS ~ Original Release: 1968

This RARE SIZE / ORIGINAL RELEASE classic Disney Poster is in Very Good condition. With overall light edge and surface wear ; tack or staple holes in all four corners & three additional ones inside yellow border area ; several light visible surface creases and some wear in the right center edge border, whee an NSS shipping label is applied on the back of the poster; two approx. 1" vertical tears in the bottom left border edge, arrested on the back with small pieces of archival tape. It's printed on glossy, heavy poster stock and has always been ROLLED or stored flat - never folded. With Brilliant, unfaded colors and sharp images.

The poster's delightfully fanciful images (differing from subsequent re-release poster artwork) pictures stars DEAN JONES and SUZANNE PLESHETTE skipping with arms lined to a suit of 'empty' pirate's clothes. Additional artwork shows co-star PETER USTINOV , as BLACKBEARD , leaping with CHEERLEADERS and sabotaging a POLE VAULTER , while a 'riderless' motorcycle chases a cop and citizens. USTINOV's head appears again in the great, stylized title logo.

The popular comedy also stars ELSA LANCHESTER , JOBY BAKER and ELLIOTT REID . Directed by ROBERT STEVENSON
