Artist's mission:  Whether it's a piece with a bit of Scripture, hymn, or uplifting bit of poetry, a piece with a bit of humor or lightheartedness, a piece that evokes the innocence of by-gone days, or simply a piece with pleasing, beautiful colors that soothe the soul,  my goal is to always try and provide a positive, uplifting message to the viewer.

I try and give all my pieces a vintage, old-fashioned feel, reminiscent of days past by adding distressing inks, but I do not have to add this element when doing custom work if not desired!

I am more than happy to do custom work if you're interested.  I generally like to work on 5 x 7 or smaller canvas, and I also love to do miniature work. I love to use lots of layers in my collages so that each time a person looks at it they might see something different; maybe a fragment of an image or color they hadn't noticed before.  Just email me with a theme, bit of poetry or scripture, or your color needs, and I'll do my best to come as close to your specifications as possible. I usually try and purchase my materials from antique malls or other vintage sources; if I don't have a particular theme in stock, I will come as close as I can to obtaining it. If what you want is not possible due to availability of materials, you may cancel the piece at no cost or obligation to you. I will also take custom card and gift tag orders if given plenty of notice when needed.
