With sharply defined devices and privileged condition, this 1892-P Morgan silver dollar has received a very respectable GEM MS65 grade by PCGS. The boldly struck devices retain high point detail while the fields remain smooth with a very prominent cartwheel shine. This truly is a PQ specimen in every way. Even CAC agrees that this coin's condition is superior to most!

This specimen has been certified by CAC to have met their stringent grading standards ensuring its high-standard of preservation and clarity making it more valuable than it's grade would suggest

1892 is one of the lowest mintage figures for Morgan Dollars from the Philadelphia Mint. Just over 1 million pieces were produced that year. That low mintage figure combined with the passage of over 100 years, and recurrent bullion melts have turned this silver dollar into one of the most difficult to find in GEM MS65 or higher.

In fact, PCGS has certified ONLY 2 examples from this mintage with a grade of MS66 with none higher.
