| BLENKO Crackle Art Glass DECANTER Sea Green Rosettes |

 WOW! I found this decanter listed and shown on pages 112 & 113 of the collector book, Crackle Glass in Color Depression to '70s, by Leslie Pina. This crystal(clear) art glass crackle decanter was introduced by Blenko in 1944 and was their item number "445." There are four(4) applied sea green rosettes at the thick base. The rosettes are not perfect, however, since this is hand made, I highly doubt that many were perfect. The bottle~decanter is quite heavy and made of thick glass. As you can see, unfortunately, I do not have the original stopper(which, of course, would certainly enhance the selling price!). Obviously, there is evidence that there was once a stopper(ie. clouded wear in the neck). However, I am hoping that someone out there "may have" a matching top for this?!? I've included the pictures from Leslie's book for you to check it out. YOU be the judge. This blown glass decanter does stand a tad lopsided. It measures approximately 4 1/4" in diameter(at widest point) and sits approx. 10 1/2" high. I see NO Cracks or Chips. There are a few manufacturing blemishes. Mostly noticeable is the skinny, slit-type bubble at the top rim. This is an imperfection IN the glass and is NOT a crack. There is a rough pontil on the underside~bottom. **Please ask any/all questions prior to placing a bid.** QUITE POSSIBLY A VERY RARE~SCARCE FIND - I haven't seen ANY on eBay. REMEMBER, I do NOT HAVE THE ORIGINAL STOPPER. You are buying this, "AS IS."
