Medicare
Reimbursable!

 Medicare requires that the physician document a need for an advanced walker.  While Medicare generally covers over 70% of the U-Step's cost for patients diagnosed with specified neurological conditions, Medicare does not cover the laser light option.  Also, a patient who has received prior Medicare reimbursement for a wheelchair may not qualify for walker coverage.  Medicare will typically reimburse you in less than two months.

  

Tension Adjustment

By turning the knobs at the base of the unit, you
can regulate your walking speed. This feature is
particularly comforting if you are afraid of a
rolling walker “getting away” from you.
