This is an interesting framed Book Plate which I know nothing about!   Sorry, but this is not my area; however, I feel it is worth being treasured by someone who is far more knowledgeable than I.   On the lower left hand side below the gentlemen is  " I or 1 KAY  1806.    On the back of this framed piece someone has pasted a small segment from a page from the book, I assume to be the source of this plate.  It talks about Sir James & Mr. Wood and appears to be set in Edinburgh, Scotland.  The plate itself measures approximately 5 5/8" x 3 1/2".

Shipping and insurance will be paid by the buyer.   No credit card, PayPal or international shipping outside of North America.   Money order or certified check will bring immediate shipment.   Personal check will be held for bank clearance.   I require insurance for the protection of the buyer and seller.

I require insurance and it is the responsibility of the buyer to handle any claims for damages during shipment with the carrier.  The carrier will want to see the original packing when the claim is made.  Notification to the seller is to be made and the insurance documentation will be mailed immediately to the buyer for buyer processing with the carrier.  Money orderr or certified check will bring immediate shipment, personal check held for bank clearance.  S&H figure includes insurance.
