The turbo-powered Bosch 11235EVS rotary hammer delivers a 20 percent higher impact rate in hammer-only mode. Users can lock the unit's dual-function switch to allow multiple hand placement in hammer-only mode; however, the switch does not lock in hammer/rotation mode. The hammer's convenient stop-rotation selector lever allows hammering with or without rotation, and its service reminder light indicates when the tool needs servicing eight hours in advance of automatic, predetermined tool shutdown. Offering an 11.7 amp motor, 120 to 250 rpm, and 1,000 to 2,400 beats per minute in hammer/rotation mode and 1,200 to 2,800 beats per minute in hammer-only mode, this unit is versatile and powerful. In addition, the hammer's padded, shock-absorbing handles improve the grip. Maximum capacity: 1-3/4 inches for spiral bits; 3-1/8 inches thru hole bits; 6 inches for core bits. Includes depth gauge, 360-degree auxiliary handle, and plastic carrying case.
